NORTH FLORIDA BLUEGRASS ASSOCIATION  BLUEGRASS MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION In September at the NFBA EXPO, the NFBA will be awarding two music scholarships for $250.00 each. If any eligible student of bluegrass music would be interested in applying for a scholarship, please call or email me (Paul Drummond) and I will mail you an application and rules or you can print the one from the NFBA website at: www.northfloridabluegrass.org. Previous winners are not eligible. To be eligible for the NFBA Scholarship, the applicant must be: Age 18 or under, be a student of elementary, middle, high school or home schooled. Reside at the home of parents or guardians that are current NFBA members, have a desire to play bluegrass music or currently plays a bluegrass instrument. Scholarship will be made payable to an NFBA affiliated and accredited music teacher. Applicant must write an essay and submit it along with the application to the NFBA Scholarship Committee no later than August 31st. (Must be postmarked by August 31st.) Mail your application to: NFBA SCHOLARSHIP P.O. Box 2830 Orange Park, FL 32067-2830 There will be a Scholarship Committee made up of three current NFBA members . Each applicant is required to write an essay and submit it along with their application to the Scholarship Committee, which will then determine the two winners.
